A vertical composition of light and craft, this floor lamp unites woodworking and textile traditions in a single, tactile object. The matt‑white, hand‑finished wooden column houses a narrow handwoven panel featuring repeating geometric motifs in tonal neutrals and deep accents. When illuminated, the integrated warm LED backlight brings the weave to life, revealing subtle reliefs, layered fibres and shifting highlights that reward close inspection.
Crafted entirely by hand from local Sardinian timber and natural fibres, the piece celebrates slow techniques and honest materials. The wood is sanded and finished to a soft, velvety touch; the textile insert is woven and hand‑finished using traditional methods that preserve the irregularities of manual work—the marks that make each lamp unique. Designed as both a focused light source and a vertical artwork, the lamp reads as a sculpture by day and a warm, intimate tableau when lit.
