A warm, narrative wall hanging from the Pecorelle series, this piece combines simple imagery with careful, time‑consuming craft. The composition shows stylized sheep —one larger, one smaller—woven in tonal contrasts against a creamy ground. The design uses a mix of tight plain weave, looped texture and tufted inserts to create soft reliefs (notably the woolly tails and the grassy ground), giving the motif a tactile, almost sculptural presence. All wool is locally sourced in Sardegna. The fibres here are not only material choice but a cultural trace: they embody the skills, rhythms and resourcefulness of pastoral life, mending, reusing, and making what the land provides.

Woven entirely by hand on a horizontal loom with natural fibres, the work emphasises material honesty and the marks of manual making: uneven loops, slight colour variations and the soft irregularity of hand‑tufted sections. Finished with a neat row of looped edging at the top and a generous fringe at the bottom, the hanging is mounted on a simple wooden rod, ready to install. Each piece carries a small maker’s label and a certificate of authenticity.
