Relief Cushion

Relief Cushion explores what can be done with a single colour and many gestures. On a cream base, the artist builds a series of framed zones: narrow bands of tight, flat weave give way to a central panel of dense, rounded knots that rise from the surface. The result is a quietly sculptural cushion front that plays with light and shadow rather than print or contrast.

The structure is compact and substantial, yet soft to the touch; small differences in knot size, spacing and line are intentional, preserving the marks of manual work and the time invested at the loom.

Designed to bring depth and warmth to sofas, armchairs or beds, the cushion works in both minimal and layered interiors. Its all‑cream palette makes it easy to combine with other textiles while still adding a strong tactile presence.

• For any stains, use Marseille soap.
