Organic Arch Table Lamp

A study in raw elegance and organic form, this sculptural lamp is entirely handcrafted from carta d’argilla (an innovative blend of paper and clay). The vertical, monolithic structure is defined by its tactile, rough-hewn surface, rendered in a warm, natural brown tone. This solid geometry is beautifully softened by large, graceful cutouts that span its faces, creating fluid, arching negative spaces and a compelling architectural tension.

When illuminated, the interior cavity is bathed in a warm, golden light that highlights the rugged, cave-like texture of the inner walls. The interplay of the grounded, earthy exterior and the luminous interior turns the piece into a dynamic focal point that transforms the atmosphere of a room. Whether turned on or off, it stands as a striking abstract sculpture.

Born from 17 hours of dedicated manual labor, the lamp’s irregular edges and porous texture are deliberate, celebrated marks of the artisan’s hand. It is ideal as an ambient light source on a sideboard, a bedside table, or as a commanding accent piece in a contemporary space that values raw materiality and bold design.

Production 

Handmade production time: each piece is fully handmade, requiring 12 hours of artisanal labour—from mixing and shaping the clay to the final carving and curing stages.
