Hand‑woven textile panel with velvet inserts, mounted and framed. A bold monochrome study of geometric fragments and woven patterns—graphic blacks, soft greys and ivory fields—punctuated by plush velvet blocks and varied woven structures. The panel is mounted on a wide matte passe‑partout. Handmade production: developed from sketch to vertical loom, each piece requires many hours of careful weaving, cutting and hand finishing.

Nocturnal Grid explores a refined palette and strong graphic rhythm through a mosaic of handwoven fragments. The composition combines tightly woven motifs, jacquard patterns and tapestry sections with moments of luxury pile—black and deep‑grey velvet—that provide soft, low‑sheen accents. Complementary woven textures—herringbone, plain weave and narrow tapestry—introduce linear grain and subtle contrast, so light and shadow travel differently across the surface, enhancing depth and movement.
Mounted visibly on a broad matte passe‑partout, the work reads as both a textile study and a graphic object. The restrained presentation foregrounds artisanal detail: stitched joins, slight colour variations and hand‑finished edges that attest to manual making. Produced with Sardinian and locally sourced natural fibres and traditional techniques reinterpreted for a contemporary language, each work is unique. Ideal as a striking focal piece in a living room, study or curated gallery wall.
